What is
glossystars? Where do I know you from?
Glossystars.com was an online catalog of glossy celebrity
photos started as a direct sale site for our VIP eBay
customers. You may know us from our powerselling days
on eBay as "Celebritmedia", and if you are
at our site it is most likely that you are a repeat
customer that first bought from us on eBay.
We no longer do business on eBay but still provide many
of our longtime customers with the same great value
for quality prints, and unlike on eBay we offer FREE
shipping!
What are the
specifics of the prints?
We use 8.5" x 11" Professional Glossy photo
paper - 10.4 mil, 255 g/m. These are super-glossies
on thick, quality paper. Most of you who have ordered
from us before are familiar with our quality glossies.
How soon will
I get my photos?
We now ship out orders on Tuesdays and Fridays. You
can place and order at any time, but the order will
ship on the following Tuesday or Friday.
We use the USPS and priority shipping on all our "specials"
as well as larger orders, and the delivery time is ususally
2-3 days, depending on what part of the country you
live in. If you require expedited shipping for any reason
or prefer to use a specific carrier (at your cost),
contact
us so we can make such arrangements.
When will
I know my order has shipped?
You will receive email notification from the USPS to
the email account you have on file with PayPal. This
notification includes a delivery confirmation number,
and means -- on our end-- that your order has been packaged
and dropped off with the USPS.
How will
my prints be packaged?
All our prints are carefully packed in cardboard self-seal
photomailers, specifically designed for photos. In larger
orders the photos will be put in several cardboard photomailers,
and "stacked" together in an envelope, or
a priority mail envelope. All packages are clearly marked
with "DO NOT BEND OR FOLD" stickers on the
front and back.
Do you have
other celebrities that I can request?
We have thousands of celebrities in our collection.
From Movie, TV, Reality, Models, Singers, Hosts, Athletes,
and other personalities, both US and foreign, popular
and obscure. Feel free to request any celebrtiy by emailing
us and we will try to add them to our online catalog.
Can I get other
size prints?
Yes, We can facilitate borderless 4"x6"s,
bordered 13"x19", bordered and borderless
11"x17" (which are stunning and great for
framing). Please inquire
about pricing and specific item availability.
Will the
print be tagged or watermarked in any way?
No. The print will contain only the actual photo image.
Any watermarking is only for display purposes in our
online catalog.
On some promotional items there may be a logo or text.
Basically, what you see is what you get, minus our glossystars.com
stamp/watermark that can be seen on the website thumbnails.
What will the
actual space dimensions of the image be?
As those of you who our familiar with our prints from
eBay, etc. our prints are approx. 8x10s on 8.5 x 11
photo paper. The dimensions of the print will slightly
vary from photo to photo depending on the dimensions
of the photo. The thumbnails in our website will be
the exact dimensions of the actual printed photo and
you can estimate by the look of the photo. Obviously,
if the thumbnail is "narrow", or rectangular
in shape there will be more negative space on the sides,
as opposed to a more"8x10" sized thumbnail.
I see some
photos with different item numbers, but the images look
the same. Why is this?
As we add new items to the website it is possible that
some duplicate photos may be added in an update. A general
rule of thumb is "what you see is what you get".
If item number 5 looks exactly like item number 99,
they might be the same photo, and if you order 5 and
99 you will get two of that photo. We will try to go
through our pages and ween out any doubles, but duplicates
may occur in the categories.
When are
new photos added?
Our site is updated continually, throughout the week,
somtimes daily and sometimes every couple of days. We
continue to add brand new photos as they become availalable,
sometimes you can find candids of your favorite star
in Hollywood from just yesterday! As events and award
shows come up we also will upload new photos from those,
including red carpet, backstage, and parties, etc. Check
back on a regular basis and see our updates
page as a guide for what's new.
